Worland Prolife was founded in 2023 with the support of Fr. Robert Rodgers and a coalition of local advocates spanning St. Mary Magdalen, the Knights of Columbus, Hope Fellowship, LDS, and others. Together, this ecumenical community raised $15,000 through a banquet, silent auction, and raffle.
Getting the mobile ultrasound van to Washakie County wasn’t without its challenges. A dedicated nurse at Elevation Women’s Healthcare believed in the mission and worked hard to make it happen. When staffing challenges paused the van in 2024, the team pivoted, building a voucher partnership with Elevation Women’s Healthcare and Serenity Pregnancy Center so no woman would go without care.
In 2025, the van returned twice a month. In just three months, a significant number of women were served. Today, Worland Prolife exists to empower and educate women and families in Washakie County facing unexpected or crisis pregnancies, guiding them from fear to hope through compassionate support and practical resources.
